  • Structural Features and Functions

    The QZ series spherical bearing consists of an upper bearing plate, a lower bearing plate, a convex intermediate plate, and two PTFE plates of different shapes. The lower bearing plate has a concave spherical surface in the middle, which corresponds to the convex intermediate plate. An arc-shaped PTFE plate is placed between them, and the spherical surface slides to meet the rotation of the beam end. The stainless steel plate on the upper bearing plate and another PTFE plate on the intermediate steel plate form a second sliding surface to complete the expansion and contraction displacement caused by temperature difference and other reasons of the beam.

    The spherical bearing has reliable force transmission and consistent omnidirectional rotation performance. It not only has the characteristics of large bearing capacity and large horizontal displacement of pot bearings, but also can adapt to large turning angles, suitable for wide bridges and curved bridges. Because the pressure-bearing components do not use rubber parts, there is no influence of rubber low-temperature brittleness, so it is especially suitable for low-temperature areas.

    Technical Performance of QZ Series Spherical Bearings

    1. Bearing reaction force (vertical bearing capacity) is divided into 16 levels: 1000, 1500, 2000, 2500, 3000, 4000, 5000, 6000, 7000, 8000, 9000, 10000, 12500, 15000, 17500, 20000 KN.

    2. The design turning angle Θ of the bearing is 0.01, 0.015, and 0.02 rad (can be increased as needed).

    3. Bearing design displacement

    Along the bridge direction: 1000-2500 KNe = ±50 and ±100 mm;

    3000-20000 KNe = ±50, ±100 mm, and ±150 mm;

    Across the bridge direction (SX bidirectional movable bearing) e = ±20 mm

    The design displacement can be changed according to the engineering needs.

    4. Under the condition that the PTFE plate is lubricated with silicone grease, the design friction coefficient of the bearing is as follows when the stress is about 30 MPa:

    Normal temperature -25℃~+60℃ take 0.03; Low temperature -40℃~+60℃ take 0.05.

    5. Horizontal force that the bearing can withstand:

    The horizontal force in the transverse bridge direction of the unidirectional movable bearing (DX) is 10% of the bearing reaction force.

    The horizontal force of the fixed bearing (GD) is 10% of the bearing reaction force.
