Precautions for support installation

1) The support must be installed as a whole and cannot be disassembled at will. If the lifting equipment has limited capacity and needs to be disassembled for lifting, it is necessary to protect each decomposed body. Each decomposition product must not have any damage, pollution, or other phenomena. Especially for movable supports, attention should be paid to the protection of polytetrafluoroethylene plates and stainless steel cold-rolled steel plates to prevent scratches and dirt from adhering to the surfaces of stainless steel cold-rolled steel plates and polytetrafluoroethylene plates. When reassembling, pay attention to checking whether the 5201-2 silicone grease is filled.

2) During installation, the top surface of the pier and the bottom surface of the beam should be kept clean, dry, and free of oil stains. During the installation process, the support must not be affected by mechanical damage, burning, pollution, or other adverse factors, and the support should be uniformly stressed during construction.

3) When installing the top plate of the movable support, the influence of installation temperature on displacement should be considered. Special attention should be paid to checking whether the main sliding direction of the PTFE plate is consistent with the main displacement direction of the bridge.

4) The centerline of the support should coincide or be parallel to the centerline of the main beam. When installing a one-way movable support, the guide block of the top plate and the guide slider of the middle steel plate should be kept parallel, and the intersection angle should not exceed 5 '.

5) After the installation of the support is completed and inspected as qualified, the temporary connecting components between the top and bottom plates of the support at the factory should be removed, and the support dust enclosure should be installed.

6) The actual installation process of bearings varies with different bridge construction techniques. For bridges with cast-in-place main beams, the upper and lower support plates are generally temporarily fixed in relative positions, lifted as a whole, and fixed in the design position. For bridges with prefabricated and hoisted main beams, only one of the upper and lower seat plates of the support can be fixed first. Usually, the upper seat plate of the support is fixed to the main beam first, and then the position of the bottom basin on the pier is determined based on its position, and finally fixed. For the continuous beam of top pushing, the lower seat plate should be fixed on the pier first, and temporary supports should be set on the pier. After the main beam is pushed and the position is corrected, the temporary supports should be removed to let the beam fall on the supports.

7) When the support is connected by welding, a pre embedded steel plate with high flatness should be set on the pier support pad stone and beam body. A certain number of steel bars should be set on the pre embedded steel plate. To ensure the compactness of the concrete under the pre embedded steel plate, appropriate exhaust holes should be opened on the steel plate. The surrounding dimensions of the pre embedded steel plate should be at least 50mm larger than the surrounding dimensions of the support. The pre embedded steel plate and support are welded in a segmented and discontinuous manner. During welding, attention should be paid to controlling the temperature not to be too high to avoid burning out the PTFE sliding plate and rubber plate. Rust prevention and painting treatment should be carried out after welding.
