Compared with general waterproof materials, steel edge waterstop has the following significant characteristics:
A、 Higher temperature resistance. Ordinary waterproof materials will become sticky and deteriorate under heat aging at 200 ℃, and will pulverize under heat aging at 250 ℃. The steel edge waterstop maintains sufficient structural strength under conditions of up to 70 ℃ and down to -30 ℃.
B、 Better sealing performance. In order to reduce production costs, 20% high boiling point petroleum solvents are added to general waterproofing membranes during production. These high boiling point petroleum solvents will eventually evaporate or seep out during the use of the adhesive, causing the adhesive layer to shrink and affecting the sealing effect. The steel edge waterstop adopts high-quality raw materials and high-temperature air cooling technology to improve the overall density, greatly ensuring the waterproof effect of the pipe gallery.
